Let us start out by saying that this is NOT the Griswold Family Vacation. Christy Brinkley will not be making a guest appearance and we are not tying anyone to the roof of the car, at least we aren't planning on tying anyone to the roof of the car…
So we started out trip later than planned, as usual. We left home at 4:20 only to have to immediately turn around to get something that we forgot, also not surprising.

that we ate while watching this weirdo guy (who was about 60 and probably drunk) make out with his weirdo girlfriend.
We saw this furry critter walking around the parking lot looking for leftovers. We think he was a barn cat from the farm next door. We also saw a mouse run by us under our car right when the cat left, unfortunately he was too fast to catch a picture of.
We made it to Syracuse! Step one complete. Off to Niagra Falls in the morning.
Great start! Gerry and I are taking bets on who will be the first one tied to the top of the car. Hope your days remain sunny and your ice cream cones that huge!
